New Publication: Advance Care Planning for People with Intellectual Disabilities

We are pleased to share a new publication on Advance Care Planning for people with intellectual disabilities. The paper, “Workforce Readiness for Advance Care Planning in Intellectual Disability Services” was recently published in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management.

In this study, we examined nurses’ readiness to implement Advance Care Planning (ACP) in the care of people with intellectual disabilities. We explored the conceptual knowledge, self-perceived competence, communication practices, and role perceptions of 127 nurses in Austria.
