The INPACT Conference took place in Portugal from April 18–20, 2026. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with other researchers and experts from various fields and countries. Our team was represented there with two presentations.

Elisabeth gave a presentation titled “Toward an Integrative Conceptual Model of Good Mental Health in People with Intellectual Disabilities.

Her presentation took place in a joint session with other researchers, including: Maja Tadić, PhD, from the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences in Zagreb, Croatia; Prof. Ronny Geva from Bar-Ilan University; and Ester Nosáľová, PhD, and Miroslava Köverová, PhD, from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice.

Amelie gave a presentation on breast health education and key educational providers for women with intellectual disabilities. This was followed by other exciting presentations and a subsequent discussion.

We were particularly delighted by the warm and appreciative atmosphere during the sessions and throughout the entire conference. A successful weekend for our research group!
