From September 18 to 20, 2025, the 15th Congress of the European Association for Mental Health in Intellectual Disability (EAMHID) will take place in Ghent, Belgium – a key event for professionals from research, practice, and policy who are dedicated to mental health in people with intellectual disabilities.

This year’s congress is held under the theme “Together for better mental health support” and offers a diverse program of lectures, workshops, and symposia from various disciplines. Our research group will also be represented with several contributions and looks forward to presenting our own findings and gaining new insights from the international community.

As part of the scientific community, we particularly value the interdisciplinary exchange, the opportunity to network, and the discussion of innovative approaches in diagnosis, treatment, and support. Our group also maintains a close connection to the congress through the involvement of our head, Dr. Elisabeth Zeilinger, who serves on the EAMHID Executive Board and contributes to the program’s development.

More information about the program and registration can be found on the official congress website: www.eamhid.eu.

We look forward to inspiring days in Ghent and engaging conversations with colleagues from across Europe!
