The University of Vienna’s science magazine Rudolphina explores in a recent article the challenges that people with intellectual disabilities face within the healthcare system. In the interview, the head of our research group, Elisabeth Zeilinger, explains why participatory research is crucial for making these gaps visible and highlights the new approaches our team is developing to promote a more equitable healthcare system.
