We are very happy to share that Sophie Komenda-Schned successfully defended her dissertation, “What is Good Mental Health in People with Intellectual Disabilities? A Participatory Mixed Methods Approach“ at the University of Vienna. In her dissertation, she explored what constitutes good mental health for people with intellectual disabilities, using a participatory mixed methods approach.

Sophie's work was evaluated by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Burtscher and Prof. Dr. Katrina Scior.

We would like to congratulate her on her great achievements and excellent work. Her commitment and results make a valuable contribution to a more inclusive, evidence-based understanding of mental health.
