How effective is the COVID-19 vaccine? We conducted a study on this topic in collaboration with the Seeböckgasse research team at the Haus der Barmherzigkeit, led by Medical Director Prim. Dr. Matthias Unseld. The study has now been published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases.

The study focused on the protection rate against infection and the antibody response following vaccination in older adults in long-term care facilities, including individuals over the age of 95. Our results show that the vaccine offers significant protection and leads to robust antibody responses.
