Review of the EAMHID Congress in Ghent

Our team attended the 15th Congress of the European Association for Mental Health in Intellectual Disability (EAMHID) in Ghent last week, where we had the opportunity to present several of our projects.

The days were filled with engaging discussions, inspiring exchanges, and valuable insights into current international research on the mental health of people with intellectual disabilities. Particularly enriching was the interdisciplinary dialogue with colleagues from research, practice, and policy, which provided us with many new impulses for our work.

We would like to thank the organizers for the excellent event and all the wonderful encounters – we look forward to incorporating the new ideas and connections into our ongoing research!
